St Albans HC follows the England Hockey guidelines on safeguarding young people and creating a safe environment in which they can enjoy playing hockey.

Our Club Welfare Officer is Chris Hobson, and he leads the administration for all coaches, team managers and team admins going through the England Hockey DBS checking process. All coaches and other adults involved with the youth section also undergo the England Hockey Safeguarding training. If you have any concerns relating to welfare and/or safeguarding, please contact Chris or speak directly to the Head of Youth.
